All About Mr. Tipton
Mr. Tipton started his teaching career in 2007 at Tinora Elementary.  He is a graduate of The Defiance College (December 2006) where he played baseball and was also involved in the Carolyn M. Small Honor’s Program. Mr. Tipton is a 2002 graduate of Paulding High School. In high school, Mr. Tipton played football, basketball, and baseball for the Panthers and was involved in the Student Council, National Honor Society, and was on the Engineering team.

As you may be able to tell, Mr. Tipton loves sports. If he is not in school trying to make learning enjoyable for his students, you could probably find him at a local sporting event or out on the practice fields coaching. Currently, Mr. Tipton is coaching Tinora 7th Grade Football, and is a Varsity Assistant for the Tinora High School boys baseball team. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing softball.

Mr. Tipton comes from a small family. His father, Wayne, is a tool & die maker in Defiance and his mother, Jamie, is a case worker for the Paulding County Family Service Agency. He also has one sister, Beth, who works as a dental hygienist in Hicksville. 

He got married in August 2009 to Alicia Allen who is a Special Education Teacher at Parc Lane In Paulding, OH .  They have their hand’s full with their "son" Duke, a Golden Retriever that is a little adventurous, to say the least.
